Do you agree that more and more businesses need to make sales online?
And, that having an online shop will mean that you can reach more customers all over the world, 24 hours a day?
But you might be wondering, which of your products and services you could put into your online shop. What about the pricing, delivery, and availability? Maybe you’ve seen your face-to-face sales drop off, bookings disappear overnight and you’re wondering how your business might survive?
Perhaps you already have a WordPress website or may be working on building one and you understand that you need to be able to make sales online, right now.
In the current situation we find ourselves in, moving online with ecommerce and an online shop is essential and, let’s be honest, do you really think your competitors aren’t looking at this, too? They are.
When you start thinking in a productised way for your experiences, programs or services, it makes it easier for your clients to grasp the depth and breadth of what you do. The power is in making it easy for people to buy from you, to automate what makes sense and provide value first.
What can you sell?
The hardest step is coming up with a list of products and services.
Go back through your customer feedback, questions, posts on social media and look for hints on what you can create. What problems have they expressed to you? Are they asking for extra support in a specific area?
You can even ask them outright, ‘what would interest or help you…?’ Peruse your competitors, search for similar products and see how you can make yours fill a market gap which will also help to price according to demand.
Here are some potential product ideas:

- Templates and tools
- Live events

Products are a great way to supplement your income but to also attract future clients and sell to people who mightn’t be able to afford your services.
